That show was awesome! My DVR crashed in the middle of it - but luckily I only missed about 12 minutes and then was able to watch it online!

I just started watching it at the start of this season - got hooked - bought all three seasons - and the rest is history! It's so nice to have a good show to watch!

great finale. i love lost because its one of the only shows that gives me that feeling excitement and dispair in the pit of my stomach. it feels like i know these people and im a part of this story. its almost like when you watch (especially the finales) you are watching something magical happen that you know will never be duplicated through any other show.

cant wait until next season.

I thought it was great. I like how it started where last year's finale left off. The ending blew me away. I didn’t expect to see Locke in the coffin. My guess is that he learned how to travel to and from the island, just like Ben, Richard and Tom did. If he died, the island must have been done with him.

Jin may very well be alive. I have a few problems with that whole scene. If you're on a boat that you know is going to blow up, wouldn't you at least jump off of it? And wouldn't the people be fighting tooth and nail to get on the helicopter? No, they all turn and walk back towards the bridge, including Jin. Just didn't fit well.

In Kate's flash-forward scene, when the phone rings and you just hear mumbling and clicking, it's actually a guy speaking in reverse, saying: "The island needs you. You have to go back before it's too late".

What happened to Daniel Faraday and the other red shirts that were in the raft going back to the ship? Did they move with the island or are they still floating around the ocean?

If you didn't watch the repeat of the first hour, the extra footage of the O6 press conference revealed that Boone, Libby and Charlie were the three other passengers that survived the crash, but later died on the island. Very convenient that they chose three people who actually did die on the island.

Ahhh, forgot about that I guess. I think I'm going to start watching the season over again. It was that good.

I really don't think Jin is dead. Maybe I'm just hoping hes not dead, don't really see how he got away from the boat in time.

What about the people in the zodiac on the way to the boat? Are they stranded out in the ocean or did they move with the island somehow?

Did NOT see it coming that it was Locke in the casket!!! how'd he get off?

So tonight's the big season finale. I think it will be interesting to see how they bring all of the O6 members together, as they are scattered all over the island and freighter now. Sun and Aaron are on the freighter. Hurley is at the Orchid station. Jack is with Sawyer and the Lawnmower Man, going to the Orchid. Kate and Sayid are with Richard and the Others, headed who knows where. The montage at the end of last week's episode was great.

There was an article and interview with Josh Holloway in the USA Today on Tuesday. He said that the finale is definitely violent and there is a body count, by the end of the show. Who do you think dies? I'm saying that Jin dies tonite. Up until last week, I thought for sure that he was still alive on the island. That changed when Sun's hostile takeover of her father's company took place. When she told her dad that there are two people responsible for Jin's death and that he was one of them, that sealed it for me. Plus, the fact that he's on a boat loaded with C-4 that's going to get blown to kingdom come, too.

Speaking of the C-4, there's a lot of talk on the Lost boards that the device that Keamy is carrying is the detonator for it. And, the reason that he's wearing the heart monitor is that the device is pulse activated. If it doesn't detect a pulse, it will blow up the ship. Keamy dies = freighter is toast.

How will Locke move the island? Ben really didn't give him any specific instructions other than how to find the elevator that will take him down to the actual Orchid station. Will the island really move or will Locke load up everyone into the Wayback machine, and move them back in time, and when they step out, Locke is the leader of the Hostiles and the other plane survivors are working for DHARMA?

I'm sure that the episode will end in true Lost fashion, where more new questions will be asked than what was answered, and having to wait 8 months until Season 5 starts.

Remaining "Lost" seasons extended by two hours

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - ABC has found more hours for the final two seasons of "Lost." The 2009 and 2010 editions of the hit drama will be 17 hours each -- not 16, as previously planned.

ABC has added two hours to the show's production plan because the Writers Guild of America strike knocked three hours out of the current season. To partly compensate, the network recently added an additional hour to Part 2 of the season finale that airs May 29.

All told, the changes will wrap up the show with the same number of episodes that producers and ABC negotiated last year.

"We were supposed to do 16-16-16," "Lost" co-creator Damon Lindelof said. "But we ended up doing 14 this season, so we owe two."

Lindelof, however, ruled out the idea that the show might extend beyond the remaining 34-episode order.

"(Executive producer) Carlton Cuse and I worked so hard to get the show to end that I think to suddenly say, 'Oh, I think we've got another season in us' would be a betrayal to everybody involved in the show -- but most of all the audience," he said. "It's better to retire your number at the top of your game."

For the upcoming season finale, Lindelof promised a more action-driven cliffhanger instead of the mind-bending flash-forward time shift that stunned fans last season.

"The finale this year will not be as tricky as last year," he said. "Hopefully, this year it's a little bit more of a straightforward action-adventure narrative. But the ending of the episode will hopefully engage and intrigue people looking forward to the next season of the show."

Lindelof declined to say whether the flash-forwards will continue, but he did leave open the possibility of the show's main story line on the island catching up with the flash-forwards that have taken place on the mainland this season.

"It's very exciting that the audience is going to be wondering when is the present going to be (next season)," he said. "We've moved backward in time, now we've moved forward in time. The present of the show has always been on the island -- that may not necessarily be the case in the future."

When it comes time to air the series finale in 2010, Lindelof said he and Cuse plan to "go into hiding for many, many months" at an "undisclosed location."

"David Chase set a great example when he went off to Paris after 'The Sopranos' ending, which is great because all these people are going to be asking, 'What does it mean? What is it?'" he said. "The fact that there's no one really around to answer that question, it forces people to come up with what they think it means. We can guarantee our show will not end with a cut to black, it will be more clear than that. But whenever anything you love ends ... there's a certain disappointment."

Me, neither. We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. Kauai, where they film Lost, was my favorite island of the three that we visited. I thought that Maui and Oahu were too crowed and over commercialized.

I just read that Mira Furlan, the actress who plays Danielle Rousseau, asked to be written out of Lost.

There is an interview with Mira Furlan's husband from a Croatian magazine which states that Mira Furlan asked to be written out of the show because she didn't like constantly being in Hawaii. Her husband also states that she might be back for the next season.

"Why did your wife stop shooting ''Lost?''?
She got bored of Hawaii. She got ''island fever'' - that's how cast of Lost calls it in joke. Simply, she didn't want to be on that island, she didn't want to work that job, so she made a deal with the producers to kill her character off.

"How did they kill her off?"
Shot her. But, her character is pretty popular with fans of the series, so they left possibility for comeback next season."

Got bored with Hawaii? Gimme a break. The show will end in 2010. I think I could have toughed it out until then. [sm=rolleyes.gif]

In today's USA Today, there's an article of fan submitted theories. The editors picked 6 of the best ones and gave them to the show's producers, Carlto Cuse and Damon Lindelof, to critque. One of the submitted theories wAS so close that Cuse and Lindelof said : "we can’t even comment on it too much because there’s a lot in here that’s pretty accurate.”

Good news, Losties!

ABC announced that it will squeeze an additional episode out of Lost, in this strike-shortened spring season. Lost will now end its season with a two-hour finale.

Due to Grey’s Anatomy also having a two-hour season finale on May 22 (9 ET/PT), Lost will be bumped that night but return a week later, on May 29, with its own double-sized wrap-up at 9 ET/PT.

"Lost" Finale Airs 9:00-11:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29.
