This looks fantastic. I'll be seeing it tomorrow night. About a week ago I rewatched Batman Begins (which I loved) and I forgot how well it sets up the sequel. Escalation...

I don't plan on seeing it. I liked it the first time I saw it when it was called Batman.

I also saw this at Q16 in Ann Arbor on midnight and I was very impressed with Heath Ledger's the Joker. It may have been one of the best performances ever as a villain. Evil, cunning, and humorous. The movie was good also. Good action, some humor, great villain. Random crap comments from no name police officers is all I disliked from the film. This is a must see though, primarily for the amazing Joker performance.

Q16 had it showing on 8 screens and all of them sold out. Ledger was a awesome joker, and Bale was even better as batman then in the first one. it is a very dark and gloomy movie. they played a trailer for the new Terminator Movie comming out next summer so get their early to see the previews. ORIGINAL: wolverines22 I don't plan on seeing it. I liked it the first time I saw it when it was called Batman. it is a totally different movie.

sounds great. i don't get these people that say they won't go see it because they already saw jacks joker. from what i gather, it's almost like two different characters. i can't wait to see it. probably wait until the crowd goes down. maybe another two weeks for me.

Ledgers Joker will go down as one of the greatest nillain perfomances of all time, right there with Darth Vader, Hannibal Lecter, and Anton Chigurgh. Christian Bale is still just decent as Batman IMHO (Michael Keaton is better). As far as the movie goes it is the best Batman movie to date...and it contains the greatest magic trick ever!!! (those of you who have seen it know what I mean, those of you who havent go see it for yourself) 9.5/10

Just saw it tonight. I loved that pitchy noise that happened when you saw the joker. Even on a wednesday night the theatre was packed. http://youtube.com/watch?v=E8I0B8nV_0I This is my favorite part. His facial expression is pretty crazy. Ledger did a really good job. If there is another sequal, I have to say the character may not be as good without him... I liked him more than Jack.

section43row50 so anyone know where i can download "why so serious" audio clip. i wanna use it as my alert on my cell phone for text messages Try these, I'm too broke to go to the theatre, plus I have zero patience for most idiots and their lack of manners during movies so as usual I downloaded http://www.moviesoundclips.net/sound.php?id=157 Not my choice for a ringtone, but hey everyone has their thang. My current one is Factory Fire, from the show Emergency! waaaaaaaay back in the day. Why, cause i'm a Fireman, it is very long and sounds cool, plus it pisses people off, scares the be-jesus out of em, and they look for the big red fire engine. Oh another ringtone I use is the infamous Joe Pesci in Goodfellas, bar scene, where he says MuthaF@#$ like 57 times then beats him to a pulp after, that one has gotten me in a little trouble at Baskin-Robbins

OK, after a lot of near misses I finally got to see it tonight on an IMAX screen. Possible spoilers follow. 1) I hate movie theaters. Showcase sells reserved seats for IMAX, so we were packed in despite the fact that the theater was half empty. The film print was dirty. I spend a lot of time looking at digitial video and theater prints drive me nuts. Next time I'll go see it in a digital theater. Not to mention people yapping throughout. 2) Heath Ledger was awesome too bad we won't be able to see him reprise the role. Great take on the Joker. 3) I really like the movie, it was very ambitious but it seemed about 10-15 minutes too long. It almost seemed like it should/could have been two movies. 4) The Harvey Dent plot line should have remained unresolved- it would have been a great setup for the next movie. Just the way Batman begins setup for the Joker in this one. 5) I love how Batman is set up as a villain in the end.

Philc 4) The Harvey Dent plot line should have remained unresolved- it would have been a great setup for the next movie. Just the way Batman begins setup for the Joker in this one. They don't ever show him in a casket so there is still a good chance. The first time iI saw it i didn't even think he was dead because it just appeared he was knocked out on the ground. Then the funeral service scene never showed him so it makes me wonder if he was just locked up and they had a service so the cities people would have never known what happend to Harvey Dent.

Saw it tonight at the IMAX. Awesome, awesome movie. It left me sad though, knowing that Heath Ledger is gone. Talk about going out on a high note, with your magnus opus.

Awesome movie! I thought it was going to end, then the movie had another hour left in it. Ledger did a phenomenal job with the Joker role.
The division between the Rich Rod supporters and the Rich Rod bashers/Carr supporters is amazing and has turned this place upside down.

I read online that the joker has been erased from the script of the next movie. Kind of a good thing though because I dont think anyone could match Heath Ledger's performance. He was absolutely amazing!!

Did anyone else catch Chris Nolan's batman theme playing right before the players ran out of the tunnel yesterday? Nice touch I thought. That was amazing and really got my adrenaline pumping!
