Come back when the Community College of Columbus can actually compete academically with other state schools in Ohio.  UofOSU is definitely Michigan's 'little brother" when it comes to academics...57-41-6

My nephew recently finished his first year at O$U in the Honors program and is transferring out because he told me "It was too easy, I wasted my first year of college".

Nothing screams inferiority like pulling the academic card, or in ND's case, the God card on a football forum.  And nothing screams quality education like a 6 on the wonderlic.  Rivalries are fun.
You've got something coming to you buckeye. People in scarlet and grey think their so tough because they watched OSU win recent games. Rich Rodriguez is going to plug the nation's fastest talent into his spread and he'll have this rivalry turned around. Wins in this thing come in bunches.

And tOSU is a pretty sad school when it comes to academics compared to Michigan, so you can't argue that card. Just because Mario Manningham was a pot-smoking retard (like most other CFB players) doesn't mean UM is inferior in academics. No wonder everyone hates the Buckeyes, I don't know how you walk the halls with heads that big.

Nothing screams "looking for trouble" when you come to a Michigan site and start talking trash Heisman.  Jeez.  What did you expect?

I'll confirm my lack of an inferiority complex by ignoring the rest of your drivel.  As for the spare ribs, I'm all over them!

tOSU was THE leader in graduation rate and a role model for discipline during the Woody Hayes-Earle Bruce era. Cooper destroyed that legacy. RR is UM's version of Cooper. I will enjoy seeing UM fans kicked off your high horse when arrests pile up.

Correction, he did receive a one game suspension.  "UNPUNISHED" only applies to sweatervest and how he handles his team's problems

Here we go again.  Do we need to rollout the rap sheets for the 50th time?  Should we use the "punished" list or the "unpunsihed"?  Considering OSU owns the record for both I'd say it gives you a lot to choose from.  Sorry Ant, you need to find another picnic.  This one isn't good for you.

Wasn't the main argument of UM fans that OSU players went scot-free for all the alleged crimes they committed? Carr is gone, the Bo's regime has come to an end. Now we learn that when UM fans were criticizing OSU players for their off field issues, Manningham had been caught smoking weed. And the only reason why this news came out was because Super Mario admitted that himself. So yes, it does makes me wonder. How many unknown dopeheads were there within the UM program, that iron curtain around the UM program protected.

And I remember that you, TK23, said that Ginn was a criminal as well, who went unpunished. Now there is absolutely nothing to suggest that Ginn was anything but the most docile and well mannered of players off the field. This just suggests to the extent of hipocricy among the UM fan base.

So,what about Ohio State, the Big Ten favorite which has 23 commitments, many of them four-star athletes?

"Numbers mean absolutely nothing," Lemming said.

"Only the ignorant recruiting fans think that's a big deal. A lot of the great players won't even make their commitments until December and January. The race in recruiting almost always goes to the tortoise, not the hare. People who know recruiting, know what's going on. Michigan, for instance, is having a good year and they could have a great year. People need to be patient."

R-Rod is recruiting kids to fit a certain system.  Sometimes those kids are not the top ranked players in the country.  I'm not worried.

Now that was balls on lol!!!   Great post Scottsdale!!!!!!!

---recruiting analyst Tom Lemming -------

"They're recruiting their type of player," Lemming said. "They're not recruiting what the Internet sites tell them to recruit. You recruit guys who fit in a system.

Give RR a couple years and this story will be basically reversed. He's getting players to fit the style of football that he's bringing to UM.

    If you look at his recruiting classes at WV, he doesn't need  only 4 and 5 star recruits to win: 04'- 5*= 0; 4*=2; 3*=7. 05'- 5*=1; 4*=13. 06' 5*=0; 4*=0; 3*=10.    32-5 record over the last 3 years with these players.

I never made that statement. I was simply repeating what you UM fan bases always accused us of. Just fyi.

And I will be watching. Five years from now, we'll see where RR's regime is in the spectrum of off-field issues.

im not trying to argue here, so forgive me if it seems that way but can you explain to me why  people seem to think RR lets players run wild. no NCAA violations, a few minor dust ups that happen at any college, and people start saying RR is a win at all costs coach and doesnt care what his players do.

Well we get our first oppertunity to see how RR is going to deal with off field issues with this whole Grad DUI thing.  I hope it's handled well and sets a standard for the rest of the team.

Do you get the feeling that this season is going to be historic? Hopefully they'll be mentioning 2008 in the same breath as 1969...
