Uniforms!!

Can you guys all seriously GET OVER IT!?  We have great home Uni's and they have not  really changed.  The road jerseys do not look that bad. We are not going to be some WV or OR clone. 
 
We are about to put an exciting football team on the field in a few weeks.  Everybody relax about the uni's please and get hyped for the season!

TK man you're classic. Damn right there's nothing else to talk about! My take on the jerseys----I really like the maize bock M on the back of the collar. Home jerseys are fine. One set of piping was plenty on the away jerseys---two sets of piping = some idiot at adidas having too much free time. Way too WVU for me. I like the blue collar with the Maize M though. Also, I HATE the blue socks. To me, blue socks = bush league. Either white socks, short white socks or no socks. After all, Charles Woodson didn't need socks...

I'm with braylon. Blue socks are nice. Especially with the home uni. The away jersey would look best with white. Blends better both ways.

I personally think that the blue socks are fine, maybe even white if we had different colored shoes, that seems to be the problem to me. The uni's are sweet though.

I would love to see the away jerseys with white pants.  I think that would be a cool change.

The authentics will have it. In fact, it's on a lot of the official team gear that's available for retail sales. There are sideline hats out already that have the "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions" tab embroidered inside.

I love these jerseys.  I think they look real sharp and haven't been mangled and changed by Adidas much at all.  I love the inclusion of 'those who stay' and the 42 B10 championships into the jerseys, that is just awesome to me.  These players now know more than ever that when they put on that jersey they are putting on years and years of tradition.  Way to get this one right Adidas!

I love the jerseys, Addidas did a great job and deserve props, the 42 BT titles is brilliant. Should help fire up our boys.

I've always like the home more than the away.

There not the same by any means. The only white unis Michigan has had that I ever liked were the ones that had a block M on the sleeves. I always prefered the home uniforms.

All of the "OMFG!!!UMLOOKSLIKEWVU!!!" comments on the web crack me up, because had our coach not come from a school where we had similar colors, no one would say a word. Hell, no one said anything when we wore the EXACT SAME STYLE as Illinois, Clemson,  etc. for the last 3 seasons.

Well said big d!!!  I too am sick of hearing everyone bitch about how similar our unis are to WVU's!  I guess if Michigan would have hired Jeff Tedford, we'd be hearing whining about how our unis look like Cal's?!
 
The only difference I see from the Nike jerseys of the past 2-3 years is the side stripe.  I hardly think that is cause to start drawing comparisons to those hideous WVU unis.  I mean, did you look at that god awful font for their numbers???

I believe you are correct.  The designs were made long before Rodriguez became coach.  He did get a final say on them, however.  But I highly doubt that he made any changes or said that the away jerseys need to look more like WVU's as all the naysayers seem to be implying. 
 
 
At the same time, I don't think we can give credit to Coach Rodriguez for the embroidering on the inside of the shoulder pads either.  Unless we're giving him credit for staming his final approval on the design when it passed through his office...

I actually like the screen-printed better.  The older Nike jerseys before the most recent style were all screened.

Well, maybe this will ease some people's fears about switching to adidas since the unis have been pretty well received by most people. I especially like the little touches of tradition inside the jerseys.

So I know I'm coming into the conversation late, but I really feel as if some people(no one here specifically just other comments I’ve read) are being slightly nitpicky/  I love jerseys, and quite a I’ve always enjoyed how teams change logos, colors, etc…; to me it’s one of the cool things about sports.  Now this doesn’t make me an expert by any means, but it looks like more of a tweak than a "change." Other than the weird yellow stripe on the away jerseys they look exactly the same to me.

I actually think the ones in that mden link look like crap. They look exactly like what they are - replicas. They look like novelty jerseys you get at Wal-Mart. I'm very glad they aren't the actual gameday unis.

i prefer them to ones with the yellow slashes around the ribs.......that's why i like them better.  just my opinion.

Arkansas has the exact same ones... so much for focusing on Michigan is our top priority. They are nice but I prefer ours
