Wow, UCLA lost!  Iowa had a hard luck loss, blowing a 2-0 lead in the 7th.  NU is up big on Depaul today, 6-0 in the 5th.  DePaul beat NU two weeks ago.

Purdue got knocked out by Nevada last night.

That's a shame. The Boilers had a great game to beat Cal State Fullerton in the previous elimination game. PU pitcher  Dana Alcocer had a no-hitter going into the sixth inning against the Titans.

We still have three in it (Northwestern, Iowa, and Michigan). UM and NU just have to win one today, while the Hawkeyes must beat Missouri twice to advance to the Super Regionals.

Iowa is gone after a 5-4 loss to Missouri.  Iowa hit a three run home run down to in the top of the 7th but the tigers got two in the bottom of the 7th for the win.

Northwestern lost game one to DePaul 3-2.  Northwestern advanced though by winning the second game 3-2.  DePaul had runners on second and third with no outs in the bottom of the 7th down by one but could not score!!!

Some exciting games there! I would have liked to see Iowa get through, and I'm glad NU survived.
