was having trouble in the classroom and missed some spring practices for extra tutoring. He was also dealing with issues back home in Indiana where he has two children. Sounds like a winner . We were really persuing him hard along with RoJo last year. Yikes.

I saw this too. Sometimes things have a funny way of working out.

I feel bad for the kid. It sounded as if he really had a tough time choosing between Michigan and Indiana, but that Florida was an afterthought - an offer he couldn't refuse, but perhaps one about which he didn't think carefully enough (pure speculation on my part). I wish him well at IU.

If I remember correctly, his high school coach and maybe even the principal were lobbying for him to go to schools, and he chose Indiana originally because that's where his hs teamates were going. With what I read today, it sounds like he's a very confused young man. Maybe the most disturbing part of the article was that he's missing tutoring sessions. If he's having knee issues, he may want to take part of the free back up plan being offered by the University.
