TUCSON, Ariz. - Senior 1B Nate Recknagel (Lake Orion, Mich./Lake Orion HS) of the No. 23-ranked University of the Michigan Baseball Team launched five home runs in six games last week, leading the Wolverines (28-8, 15-1 Big Ten) to six victories. Those five jacks, along with 11 RBI and .381 batting average (8-for-21), earned him the distinction of the Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week, announced Monday (April 21) by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
