Lakers take game one.  All hail to Kobe

I can't believe Detroit lost Game 1. Detroit should take the next two though at least. They will have some kind of fire lit by losing game 1. Rip and Billups had an off night offensively. Hopefully they'll pick it up in Game 2.

Can someone please explain to me what qualifications an idiot like Flop Saunders has to be coaching a team?

Oh well of course they will win the series; I'm just surprised that the Pistons missed so many point blank shots in the final minute.

Inexcusable mental lapses.

Mental lapses that did not occur under Larry Brown.

The guy loses one game and just like that he's an idiot? Or has this animosity carried over from last season and continued throughout the year?

Carried over since the Cleveland series TWO years ago. This is nothing new.

Halfway to the Pistons' most spectacular flameout yet, and hopefully Flip's ouster.

But honestly...I don't know if there's a coach out there that can reign in the massive egos of these players. If they get bounced by Philly...I don't know if replacing the coach is going to be enough.

They just plained died out there.  They just walked around, carelessly threw the ball around, allowed 23 turnovers for a team that averaged the lowest(11) a game in the Reg. Season.  Someone needs to light the fire, and I dont know if its Flip or not.  I dont have anything really against him, I just know we have one of the deepest benches in the league, and we STILL cant get it done against PHILLY!

Pistons trail by 10 at the half 46 to 36. Fire Flip Saunders and try to get Larry Brown to come.

Sheed's "T" has motivated the Pistons to turn it around a bit in Game 4 and take a 9 point lead in the 3rd quarter.  It looks like the Pistons may play well enough to pull this one out, but it still is a disgrace and embarassment.  Why do the underachieving Pistons think this season's playoffs could lead to anything better?  Time for changes Joe.

Basketball clinic put on by the Pistons over the past 10 quarters, dispatched of Philly with absolute ease tonight.

In this case I think (hope) the short layoff between series will benefit them. They're in a groove right now, lets hope it carries over to Game 1 against Orlando Saturday night.
