iPhone 3g
-
Friday, July 11, 2008 6:24 AM
Any early birds planning on buying an iPhone 3g today? I would like to, but I'll probably wait until next week or something when it's less crazy at the Apple Store. Planning on shopping there instead of AT&T to ensure that I get a Bluetooth (preferably stereo) headset that is compatible.

Hey Phil, It would be really cool to have a UMGOBLUE app for the iPhone so we could check the forums and post while on the go. Just a thought.

Not until the iPhone is offered with other service providers. I have a Mac at home and find it crazy that the new Me.com runs on Safari and Firefox only. Of course, it runs on Internet Explorer 7 but after testing it today at work...it is garbage, as they warn. I have a .Mac account and do a lot of photo sharing...if people that I send pictures to can't view photos because they are running IE, then I don't think that I'm renewing my subscription. I run Safari at home but work won't let me run anything but IE 7. Kind of sucks.

ORIGINAL: LBC-blue Hey Phil, It would be really cool to have a UMGOBLUE app for the iPhone so we could check the forums and post while on the go. Just a thought. when i was at the ncaa regionals in Albany, i was surfing umgoblue.com on my dad's blackberry. it was formatted really nice, only downfall is i wish i could figure out how to turn off avatars because of it i had to do alot more scrolling. ORIGINAL: Philc I agree. I'll take a crack at it. You can get UMGoBlue.COM articles formatted for cell phone here: http://umgoblue.com/mobile/ wow sweet, next time i see my dad i will get his phone for a few and try it out.

Haven't seen a 3g yet but the 2.0 software upgrade whacked my iPhone yesterday. Took a few hours to get things back to normal. On another note- the podcasts I've been producing are now available on iTunes. search for "NCMS" and select "NCMS Radio - INNOVATION:ON. There are 4 episodes so far related to manufacturing innovation and the benefits of collaborative R&D.
