The safety of your own house. Unless you find an ally behind enemy lines, i cant think of anywhere in public.

Regarding our military: "If you can't stand behind them, stand in front of them." RIP Bo. You were an amazing man; it is because of you, I am the Michigan fan I am today.

lived in Cbus for the first 25 years of my life, and i can honestly say, NO. I won't even go over to my friends house's and watch the game because of how ridiculous they get. 364 days out of the year, they are fine, but on that day, I don't even bother with them.

Sports bars will probably always have the UM game on.. BW3 and such.. The environment might not be the frendliest and if UM loses expect at least a heavy verbal assault. I lived north of columbus for 23 years and rarely missed a UM game on TV (besides big 10 network cuz of time warner) but luckily i rarely had to leave the house.

I live smack in Columbus, and if you know what I know either enjoy it at home or meet some Michigan fans and have a get together. Unless you want to be taken to the brink of insanity DON"T venture out during to many games, especially if we are doing well.

goblueinohio do any fans living in the columbus area know of a Michigan friendly place to watch the games on saturday? Omg I feel sorry for you guys! Having to worry about rooting for your team...wearing Michigan gear...I remember awhile ago, before St. Tressel's watch, OSU was playing WVU early in their season and during the game they were chanting anti-Michigan stuff! How they feel about us...that just freaks me out. It's kinda sad that I feel uncomfortable travelling through one state in our great nation!

i started a thread on another board once, asking what the worst thing you did to an oppossing fan ever was, and a buckey fan said he cut some guy off on the freeway and flipped him off just because he had Michigan plates and they were in ohio. Not even Wolvering bumper sticker or anything, just Michigan plates.

I'm an hour south of Columbus, and it's only slightly better the Columbus itself. The only city in Ohio I have ever found to be Michigan fan friendly is Cincinnati. There are a fair number of Kentucky people who despise OSU equally as much
Living behind enemy lines in Ohio.

I am not far from you guys in Dayton, only about 30 minutes, Jamestown.
Flush twice, it's a long way to Columbus.

I went to a concert at Blossom Music Center last night, which is very close to the Cleveland area. I wore my Michigan hat the whole time, but on my way out I ran into some stupid Buckeye fans that were drunk and they started doing the O-H-I-O chant in my face and then pretty soon the whole crowd around me was doing it. It was so dumb!! So everybody in the Columbus area I feel your pain guys!
