Give RR a couple years and this story will be basically reversed. He's getting players to fit the style of football that he's bringing to UM.

   If you look at his recruiting classes at WV, he doesn't need  only 4 and 5 star recruits to win: 04'- 5*= 0; 4*=2; 3*=7. 05'- 5*=1; 4*=13. 06' 5*=0; 4*=0; 3*=10.    32-5 record over the last 3 years with these players.

This is old hat for Coach Rod, starting a program over, but he isn't starting at ground zero here; all the players on the squad might not be his 'guys' but they are good. If we pull a 10-3 or 9-4 season this year, omg look out!

I'm not saying that RR wont improve Michigan's recruiting over the next few years...but to assume that he will just reverse this story is a bit foolish. The Buckeyes are rolling right now and have landed a powerful recruiting class in 08 and are currently on top of recruiting in 09. It means that tOSU will be a machine for the next 3 to 4 years at the minimum. We all know that anything can happen in THE GAME, but Michigan hasnt even seen the likes of T. Pryor, B. Saine, D. Posey, E. Sobino, The Block O line recruits, D. Bell, etc. These guys wont even play this year. To discredit what the Buckeys are doing in recruiting is dilusional.
The Bucks have been to three of the last six BCS National Championship games and Michigan hasnt even been there yet.

And to think that RR won't have any effect on Michigan this year and the years to come is completely ignorant by a Buckeye fan.  Did Tressel have any effect on Ohio St. when he took over after Cooper?  Uh, I think so.

You know what is going to be scary?....when RR brings in a Michigan squad to AA this year and steals one from the Buckeyes "without" his players.  Then you will recognize the story.

Blah Blah Blah....and you haven't seen them play in college either.  BUT, you know what, no one in the country has seen the likes of RR's offense with top flight recruits.  What does that mean?  Absolutely nothing, until they hit the field.  So, who cares....And as you said, anything can and will happen in THE GAME!

See you in November!

Go Blue!!

The division between the Rich Rod supporters and the Rich Rod bashers/Carr supporters is amazing and has turned this place upside down.

talk about foolish, isn't thisthe same song we hear every year how great the o defense is and all the top talent  at ous is so much better than everyone else......... someone should have reminded florida about your great players and then you would have been smart to let lsu know how great you guys are and you might not have gotten embarassed again.......i know i know .......at least you got there twice in a row.......right........ous is the only college team to brag about getting their a$$ whipped twice in a row.....
ps.  seems to me that gator team that destroyed u guys was the same defending champs that we crushed......so so much for all the other great talent you have, bottom line is you either bring it when it counts or make excuses all winter ....
Seriously dude, work on the punctuation. Usually people use one period, and a capital at the beginning of a sentance. Checking over the post one time for stupid mistakes also helps.

I completely agree, but have to point out the irony in someone asking a poster to correct their punctuation when his post needs to go through spell check.

We've seen Saine already, not impressed.  Are we supposed to be afraid like we were before 5 star monster recruit LB Mike D'Andrea took the field? What's he done in his career?  Who's the block o line recruits?  Is that another name for the brew crew? Are you that dillusional to think Pryor won't play this year?  That kid will throw a fit on the sidelines if he doesn't see the field

It's funny to see RR already altering the vest's recruiting by the looks of all the DB's he's getting

Hopefully that "machine" you're referring to gets a fix on how to win the big games

Typical buckeye arrogance, you soon will be knocked of that high horse you're riding.  I hope USC takes O$U to the woodshed and exposes them once again

Ha I got a good laugh out of that also, I was questioning a couple of words, thinking to myslef, "it's gonna look bad if I spell something wrong and tell him to make a better effort.

You don't have to be a perfect poster, just make an effort to spell correctly and uses periods, cap letters, etc...

Buck fans talk about their recent recruiting class like UM just goes down to the pool hall, and asks some guys if they'd like to play this Saturday.  Hey, Bucks, our classes last year, and so far this year, are within spitting distance of yours ... no significant difference.  What you have yet to prove is that you can even look respectable against a spread-option scheme.

Yes, Lloyd had a way of turning 4 star recruits into 2 star recruits, but Rod has a history of doing just the opposite.  All the Buck fans talk about having a strong UM so it will help OSU rankings when they beat us ... well, that's one possible outcome.  Your winning ways against UM are 5 years old .... our winning ways against OSU are 100 years old.  Enjoy it while you can.

Totally agree!  In fact, our incoming class was ranked AHEAD of yours until Pryormadonna officially signed on to play at the University of Ohio State...

And yes, OSU's current recruiting class looks good now.  But, it's also almost complete.  Don't be surprised if Michigan's current recruiting class looks just as good when it's all said and done!

We know that OSU isn't going anywhere.  The thing is, neither is Michigan.
