Penn State - Big Ten Regular Season Finale

So now we have finally come to the end of the Big Ten season. The year has basically gone according to plan, with Michigan and Northwestern deadlocked atop the conference standings. It's another purple and blue year in the Big Ten!
The Wolverines will take on Penn State today at noon in Game 1 of the Michigan-Nittany Lion series in State College, while Northwestern hosts Michigan State at 2 p.m. in Game 1 of the Wildcat-Spartan series.
The teams will play against against their respective opponents at the same time on Sunday. All games will be on the Big Ten Network.
I'll be tracking both games and hopefully be posting scores here throughout the day.

JT replaces Nemitz in the circle. UPDATE: JT gets the strikeout - extra innings, here we come! UPDATE: We had runners on first and third in the top of the 8th, but came away with nothing once again. UPDATE: Both teams have failed to record a run...0-0 top of the 10th. UPDATE: Michigan finally breaks through in the top of the 10th! Angela and Sam Findlay ripped back-to-back homers for a 2-0 Wolverine lead!

2-0 NU in the 1st. Also, the UM-PSU game just went final: 2-0 Wolverines. F/10 UPDATE: Spartans strike back in the top of the second with Jessica Bracamonte's two run homerun. 2-2 in Evanston! UPDATE: MSU takes the lead! 3-2 Spartans in the third! UPDATE: Erin Dyer hits a three run homerun, as NU takes a 5-3 lead in third.
