Wolverines take Game 1, 8-3. Putnam remained perfect (4-0), as he allowed one run on four hits, while striking out five in seven innings of work. Jason Christian, Leif Mahler, and Kenny Fellows each had a pair of runs batted in.

The AA News said Friday's game was a sellout. Does anyone know if tickets are still available for Sunday's game? I checked the online ticket office, but that game is not listed.

Doesn't look like it. You could try to walk to the stadium and try to get some. Meanwhile, in Game 2, the Wolveirnes posted seven on the board in the first inning. Michigan is up by the same margin, 7-0, entering the bottom of the second.

Wolverines took Game 2, 10-4. Michigan is leading Game 3, 2-0, in the second inning. Zach Putnam knocked out a solo homer, which was followed two batters later by Derek VanBuskirk's solo homerun.

27-6, final. Phil was there, waving his broom for the sweep.

27-6!!? I think you have to go all the way back to 2002 to even see the football team beat the Spartans by that kind of margin.
