Michigan/ND Line - Monday, September 08, 2008 7:54 AM
Thought this was interesting, saw it posted over on mgoblog:

Summer line: ND -3.5
Adjusted line after Week 1: ND -8.5
Actual line of Game Week: UM -1

I wonder how much more movement there will be during the week, but suffice to say I find it interesting that Michigan would be favored heading into their first road game, especially when you consider the usual 3-points-for-home-advantage-thing.

As bad or I guess I should say inconsistent as the offense has been, at least there has been positive things to look at from UM.  ND did not look any better than last year, even the NBC homer announces said the same thing.  They should have lost to a team that lost to a team with Obispo in their name.

You know I was worried about us going into Notre Dame and them taking some frustration out on us for the blow out last year, but Notre Dame looked terrible on Saturday.  We are only a couple of good throws away from putting up 24-30 points.  We had guys running open and just could not drop it to them.  However, if the offense struggles again and ND plays similar then I would take the under for Philc's score.

If ND had that much trouble with San Diego State certainly we can give ND a good beating dispite our inexperience on offense.

I think Michigan's defense has another good game vs. a bad Irish offensive line. I think the Michigan running game gets gfoing more this week vs. an Irish team who can't stop the run.

I wouldnt mine 3-2. I think Michigan will win, but I think they arent good enough to beat but maybe 3 or 4 Big Ten teams.

Taylor, Graham, Johnson, Martin, & Jamison should have many greetings for 'goldy locks'.  I wonder what the over/under on sacks might be.
My guess: 6
