Great Tiger Game - Thursday, May 08, 2008 12:49 AM
Just got back from the Tiger game.  After blowing an 8-4 lead they came back and beat the Red Sox in the bottom of the ninth.

A frustrating but entertaining game.

Weird sight after the game.  While leaving I ran into a crowd of people getting autographs from Manny Ramirez- outside of the stadium.

He left the game immediately after the game and walked out to a waiting vehicle...

Great needed win!!  Hopefully the Tigers can gain some momentum and confidence going into this weekend for the home stand against the Yankees.

We have tickets to Saturday's game for our 23rd anniversary on the third baseline.  You have seasons tickets?  Where are your seats Phil?

I have a 28 game package.  Saturday is part of our package but I have a wedding to attend.

My seats are in the first row of the upper deck above the Tiger dugout- section 331.

Last night I moved down for the 9th innning

The best part of the win is that those ninth inning runs came off Papalbon who, if you listen to espn, is the greatest pitcher to ever throw a baseball.  even though he ONLY THROWS ONE INNING!

A great win, indeed. Hard to fault Papelbon though. A check swing single, an error and a broken bat single led to two runs. Still, as win is a win.
