GTA 4? - Thursday, May 01, 2008 2:30 PM
What's happened to this forum?  Does anybody live here anymore?  Does anybody who owns a copy of GTA 4 want to write a small review?

I'd like to maybe get it for PS3.  From everything I've heard it blows the doors off of every video game created to this date.

Yeah, I have GTA4....I'm currently ~ 15 percent done with the game.

Its just like any other GTA title.  The graphics are improved, obviously.... Seems to be a well thought out plot, blah blah blah...basically I agree with a lot of what the various video game analysts have been saying.  At first, I was dissapointed in the game, but its been really growing on me quickly.

To be honest, I think I liked Crackdown more.  But maybe thats just me.  Crackdown is only for the XBox 360....I got GTAIV for the PS3.

I'm bad at reviews, so I wont write one, but if your a fan of the series, definitly get it. At its heart its exactly what the last 3 were, basically doing random errands for seemingly random characters, but the missions are well thought out, the plot seems to be chugging along smoothly, the graphics are amazing, and if your car gets shot they have bullet holes now. The game is amazingly fun, and while the driving is a lot harder, its also a lot more realistic. There is a redesigned warning star system. Now the cops are patrolling a zone based on your last known location, to evade you must get away and leave the zone without a cop seeing you and lay low for a while. Past that i don't really know what to tell you, but i do have it on 360.

Just got it on Saturday for PS3, and spent a good portion of the evening with a buddy drinking beer and just having fun on the game, but so far, the graphics and details are outstanding. Language is more than I expected, but funny to hear that much on a game. I would recommend it to anyone who has intrest in these types of games. Cheats codes are out, and fun to use cheats to play around.

I got it on saturday, I love it! the graphics are great. I have to agree that the driving is much harder. On a side note, when I brought it home and put it in my 360 it tipped and put a hellified scratch in the disc. I wasn't happy, but it works fine.
