Former Wolverine Tom Brady - Sunday, September 07, 2008 10:17 PM
May be out for the season.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to miss the rest of the 2008 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to a source familiar with the injury.
While New England coach Bill Belichick said in his postgame press conference that he had no update on the status of Brady’s injury, two sources indicated it involved serious damage to the knee.
“It’s bad,” a team source said. “We’re going to have to play without him.”

With the 3rd pick in my draft I get Tom Brady....for 15 minutes of the 2008 season. Sucks for him but I cant say I care at all about Boston's misfortunes.

Retire? Why would he retire, he is only 31 years old and is the best QB in the NFL.

Very unfortunate injury for the NFL. As much as everybody loved to cheer against the Patriots, they were an extremely fun team to watch with Brady on the field.

Hopefully he recovers for next year and gets back to full strength.

The division between the Rich Rod supporters and the Rich Rod bashers/Carr supporters is amazing and has turned this place upside down.

There goes b2b MVP seasons.  Too bad.  He really is a great talent and helps thin out the Manning fallout were constantly poisoned with.

Maybe he can come home to AA and preach a little to the new number 10.

Tough break, Tommy.  That part of the human anatomy just wasn't meant to play a game as brutal as football.

I'ts got to kill a guy as competitive as Brady to be sidelined all season long, but I'm sure he'll come back as good as ever.

Plus I'm sure Giselle will be taking excellent care of him after the surgery so it's hard to feel too bad for the guy.

I don't know...
Now that he's "crippled and scared" maybe Giselle will dump him!

Think I got a shot?

I feel terrible for Brady.  I am like a couple of you.  I smiled very wide earlier this month when I had the pleasure of drafting Brady in not just one, but two of my fantasy leagues.  I was so excited to watch him put numbers up week after week as I dominate both leagues and collect nice checks at the end of the year, but alas, I now will settle for Kitna and Eli.  UUUGGGHHH.
