UM/Notre Dame Prediction
[Old/Adv/Featured.htm]
|
Michigan |
Notre Dame |
|
Offense |
|
Notre Dame runs the west coast offense- poorly. Michigan
has a new offensive backfield (QB, RB) and a number of great
receivers. Look for Freshman QB Chad Henne to struggle
early but his experienced receivers will bail him out big time.
Advantage- Michigan |
|
Defense |
|
Notre Dame didn't look particularly strong versus
BYU. Michigan has a dominant defense which will tear the
Irish up.
Advantage- Michigan |
|
Special Teams |
|
The Wolverines have had trouble on PAT's but that won't matter in
this game.
Advantage- Michigan |
|
Intangibles |
|
There is no denying that Notre Dame usually gets
the breaks...Luck of the Irish, Referees sponsored by NBC- you
decide...But Michigan is too strong. The Irish will get
blown out in their own stadium.
Advantage- Notre Dame |
|
Prediction |
|
Notre Dame will need more than TD Jesus to have a chance of
beating the Wolverines this year. |
|
Michigan 33 Notre Dame 9 |
