11/24/03- Lloyd and ABC Incident

Fans watching the UM/Ohio State game saw an exchange between Lloyd Carr and a sideline reporter as he left the field during halftime.

The "Incident"

Michigan had just ran out the clock instead of trying to move down the field and score before the half.

Conclusion

Lloyd appeared to be a little perturbed at the question but the incident is being blown out of proportion.  Lloyd apologized to ABC and seemed to be generally embarrassed at how he dealt with the question.  The ABC studio sportscasters immediately overreacted and Dan Fouts leveled some cheap shots during the second half broadcast.  It appears the 'professional' broadcasters aren't above a little piling on...
