UM/Purdue Prediction
[Old/Adv/Featured2.htm]
|
Michigan |
Purdue |
|
Offense |
|
The Michigan offense was completely dominating last week versus
an overmatched Illinois squad. Purdue is surely more
talented than Illinois but this Michigan offense is a machine.
If John Navarre can get on track early Michigan will score a
lot. He has responded well at home...
Advantage- Michigan |
|
Defense |
|
In the past Purdue has been known for a great
offense. This defense takes center stage. Michigan
has looked great in some stretches this season but miserable in
others...
Advantage- Purdue |
|
Special Teams |
|
Steve Breaston is most electric player to play special teams at
Michigan since Desmond Howard. Purdue will try to kick
away from his but he'll still get a chance to take over this
game at some point...
Advantage- Michigan |
|
Intangibles |
|
Michigan plays well at home but Purdue has
consistently been prepared for this game. Look for Purdue
to pull out all the stops for this one but the Wolverines are
16-3 versus the Boilermakers since 1980.
Advantage- Even |
|
Prediction |
|
The offense rolls and defense answers the bell... |
|
Michigan 37 Purdue 24 |
