UM/Notre Dame Prediction
[Old/Adv/Featured.htm]
|
Michigan |
Notre Dame |
|
Offense |
|
Notre Dame runs the west coast offense- poorly. Michigan
has an experienced line and RB's Chris Perry and David Underwood
have been awesome. Look for Michigan to pound the ball
early and often. If the Wolverine passing game can get on
track this could be a blow-out.
Advantage- Michigan |
|
Defense |
|
Notre Dame has been inconsistent and Michigan has
been largely untested against minor opponents. S Marlin
Jackson is the best defensive player on the field and he gives
the Wolverines an edge.
Advantage- Michigan |
|
Special Teams |
|
The Wolverines have been inconsistent on special teams but this
one won't come down to a field goal...
Advantage- Even |
|
Intangibles |
|
There is no denying that Notre Dame usually gets
the breaks...Luck of the Irish, Referees sponsored by NBC- you
decide...
Advantage- Notre Dame |
|
Prediction |
|
Notre Dame will need a bushel of phantom touchdowns to win this
year. |
|
Michigan 31 Notre Dame 17 |
