The Quaterback battle is going to be a doozy! Drew Henson looked sharp but so did Tom Brady. Last season, Drew could run and scramble but his passes had a tendency to float. At the spring practice, he threw passes like a rifle. Brady threw well and actually scrambled a few times, too. I think that if Drew Henson wasn't splitting his time between football and baseball he'd have a better chance of starting at QB. While Drew is playing baseball in the minors for Yankees this summer, Brady will be studying playbooks, watching tape, and working out informally with his teammates. In the end the only people truly qualified to make decision on starting quarerback are the coaches who watch these guys every day in practice. Will Tom Brady's experience overcome the athleticism of Drew Henson? Stay tuned. |
