Last Saturday the athletic department held their annual garage sale at Cliff Keen Arena. The hockey program also held their sale at Yost. As usual people starting lining up for both sales the night before. Popular items at the hockey sale were the practice jerseys (very nice), hockey equipment (pads, sticks, skates, helmets etc.) and team warm-ups. Items at the Athletic Department garage sale included football jerseys and pants, basketball jerseys and shorts, sweat shirts, t-shirts, hats, media guides, posters, and cleats to just to name a few. These sales are great opportunities to get your hands on authentic team apparel (stuff not sold through retail stores). Items vary from year-to-year and the only way to know what will be available is to show up and see. Lines are long and it can as long as 45 minutes to pay for your merchandise due to the crowds. GO BLUE! |
